Polycrisis

To be alive, as an artist, during this moment in earth's history - this country's history - is something of a responsibility.  So much is happening - more than we can process in real time - and it is the gift and curse of the artist to represent that which is not fully able to be held in words or actions.

Intertwined with the climate crisis is the polycrisis - the intersection of political, economic, and climate crises - both in the US and across the globe. This time of unrest has deep intersections - worn from the grooves of extractivist relationship to the earth and those beings (human and non-human) who were in positions of lesser power.

This work attempts to represent a few of the fragments of experience during a time of emerging  authoritarian take-over and worldwide climate collapse.
