I live in the hills of North Berkeley - amidst sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay, the green of Tilden Park, and the raptor birds that fly past my studio window.  These beautiful hills are also located in a high fire danger zone, hold yearly evacuation threats and days of smoke, orange skies, and air that crackles with the tension of drought.

This series reflects my gratitude, my fear, my awe, and my dread from my little corner of this enormous, magnificent, suffering planet.
